Interesting Maths Patterns
Look at this interesting number pattern! Use the internet (with supervision from an adult) to find more interesting number patterns. What happens if you continue this similar pattern? Use a calculator to help:
1 x 8 + 1 = 9
12 x 8 + 2 = 98
123 x 8 + 3 = 987
12 x 8 + 2 = 98
123 x 8 + 3 = 987

Science Wallwisher Research
Year 6 have been completing some collaborative research using an internet tool called 'Wallwisher'. They worked in small groups to find information about food chains. They recorded information on a group Wallwisher page. Here are the links to a few of the groups pages:
Group 1
Group 2
Group 3
Group 4
Group 5
Despite technical difficulties, most groups were able to record some interesting facts about food chains. The Wallwisher pages are open for editing , so let the year 6 teachers know if you work on them at home.
